The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston (MFAH) boasts an impressive permanent collection of ancient and contemporary art. In addition to the main campus, the MFAH includes the Bayou Bend Collection and Gardens and Rienzi, two "house museums" for American and European decorative arts. The Museum also offers educational programs for adults and children, as well as a film series. Every Thursday, admission to the museum is free, sponsored by Shell.

Is photography allowed at the MFAH?
Photography is allowed in certain galleries including the permanent collection. It is not permitted in special exhibits. When in doubt, ask the museum attendants. And no flash photography, of course.
Can I re-enter the MFAH if I leave?
Visitors can reenter the museum on the same day they purchase their tickets. Simply show the MFAH sticker upon reentry.
