Located in Houston's Energy Corridor, George Bush Park offers 7,800 acres of winding trails for walking, jogging, hiking, biking and horseback riding. The beautiful park is also home to shooting range, rock climbing area, a playground, archery, horseshoes, a dog park, volleyball courts, ponds, pavilions and picnic tables, so there's definitely outdoor fun for everyone. George Bush Park also offers several fields for soccer, baseball, softball and model airplane flying. Stroll or ride along the large wooden bridge that crosses the Buffalo Bayou, called the Boardwalk.

George Bush Park is almost 8,000 acres, with scenic trails, ponds, a shooting range, dog park, and soccer and baseball fields. And the great news is that there is plenty of parking throughout the park near all the recreational facilities and play areas.
Are there jogging trails in the park?
Yes, the park has a system of hiking, running, walking, biking, nature and horseback riding trails surrounded by forest, swamps, and bayous. In addition to the jogging and biking trail, there is a large wooden bridge that crosses the Buffalo Bayou, called "the Boardwalk."
